Our Cleaning Methods

Each wall is different (e.g. a wall rendered with K-Rend is different to a standard brick wall or a stone wall) and requires a particular approach. We will advise you of the most suitable and effective method for washing your wall. For example, in a lot of cases a standard brick wall (if in good condition) can be prewashed with a treatment and then simply power washed at high pressure. Whereas a rendered wall would be pre-treated at very low pressure with the treatment gently brushed onto the render, left for 30 minutes and then gently washed off (not at high pressure with a jet wash). This latter method is known as Soft Washing and avoids any inadvertent damage or “striping” to the render that might otherwise be caused by high pressure washing.
